Hello and Welcome.

I’m Lili, and this is Bayleaf Studio. This is the place where I explore 2 of my loves: knitting and cooking. Oh, plus a little bit about paper goods, too. The knitting part is where I share my love of hand knitting as I work on new goodies for my etsy shop or for myself and those in my life. The cooking portion is all about the (hopefully) delicious, macrobiotic-leaning foods I make for those in my life and myself.

When making anything, whether it’s cookies or a cowl, I believe the ingredients matter. In knitting, that would be wonderfully soft natural fibers, like local merino wool from Upstate New York or organic cotton for baby blankets. Nothing itchy. Only cozy goodness. In cooking, it’s all about organic, seasonal and local when possible. This is what works for me and keeps me and my loved ones happy.
